I recognize and honor the people of the Cheyenne, Ute and Arapahoe tribes as the original and rightful stewards of the land I sit on. I give my respects to Elders past and present. I am grieved by the abuse on human rights committed through colonization and am devoted to doing my part as we look to heal the legacy of trauma that continues to this day.
